We are proud to be a key sponsor of the Waiau Pig Hunt, held every year over Labour Weekend. First established in 1999, this iconic local event has become a much-loved tradition, bringing together hunters, families, and the wider community for a weekend of fun and camaraderie.
As a supporter, we’re pleased to provide prizes and ongoing sponsorship to help make the event a success. Beyond celebrating hunting and the outdoors, the Waiau Pig Hunt also plays an important role in supporting the Waiau Volunteer Fire Brigade, with funds raised helping them continue their vital work in keeping our community safe.
This year the profits raised will be helping out our local Volunteer Fire Brigade to purchase a dedicated vehicle as they become a Medical First Response Brigade
